| Cimarron Technologies was founded in April 1991, as a California Corporation. The company manufactures GE-STAR, MDC-1200 and FleetSync compatible Automatic Numerical Identification (ANI) products. Public safety, state correctional, public municipalities, taxi, towing, and fleet markets use Cimarron's ANI products. The basic function of the ANI product line is the transmission of mobile radio identification to a Decoder Display unit. Other ANI functions such as Emergency and Man-Down help to enhance a user’s personal safety. Two-way messaging is also available that allows the user to disable a radio, place calls to selected radios, alert a user that a call is waiting and verify that a radio is within range.
Cimarron has supplied the entire NY State DOC, NY State DOT and Washington State Police with encoders and Decoder Display units. Cimarron Technologies is a licensed developer of Motorola MDC-1200 products. Cimarron products feature Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and "state of the art" DSP processing. All products are 100% visually inspected, tested and are fully warranted for 3 years. The company also will do custom design and manufacturing for its ANI products to meet exact specifications. The ANI encoder boards are small circuit boards that transmit an ID number over-the-air for decoding and displaying at a base station. All Cimarron mobile products include automatic Man-Down and Emergency push button inputs along with PTT ID and stuck-mic functions. The encoder/decoder CDEU-1 adds an additional layer of safety with radio-disable/enable, remote open mic-monitor, unit selective call and silent radio check features. Cimarron Technologies has created a unique Software-Defined Encryption™ technique that allows users to modify the encryption program to maximum levels that a system can support. One example of how we customized our products is a system which we developed for the USAF. This emergency warning system alerts personnel within the missile silo if there is trouble on the surface or if a guard is disabled or falls down. It’s called the Personal Alarm System (PAS). The units worked so well that the Air Force reordered them.
Another example of this is the New York City Transit Department. They requested a unique ID pattern and the ability to send additional operator input from portable radios. This was accomplished with a modification of an existing format and close work with the radio manufacture to accept inputs from the radio keypad. Delivery was within the budget and on time.

Cimarron Technologies Corporation warrants all of its ANI products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from date of shipment. If a malfunction occurs due to defective material or workmanship, equipment will be repaired or replaced at Cimarron’s discretion if returned to the factory. All warranty work will be done at Cimarron’s factory and in no case shall Cimarron bear the cost of on- site labor.
This warranty does not apply to any failure or damage caused by accident, neglect, unreasonable use, improper installation, tampering, or to alterations or modifications to the unit. Nor does the warranty extend to damage incurred by force majeure (natural causes) such as lightning, fire, floods, or other such catastrophes, nor to damage caused by environmental extremes, power surges and/or transients.
Cimarron Technologies Corporation makes no other warranty, either expressed or implied, with respect to this product. Cimarron Technologies Corporation specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
