The Guardian ™ remote mount radio is a high power, feature-rich 110W mobile unit that has the same features and operating interface as the regular 5W and 50W mobiles. It has a separate control unit for up-front mounting and a 110W power amplifier for remote mounting in the vehicle. It is fully digital and meets APCO Project 25 standards including the common air interface for interoperability with other Project 25 radios. The Guradian ™ also operates as an analog radio, fully compatible with conventional wideband systems.

Datron offers two versions of desktop radio - the 1st is a 50W unit with built-in AC-DC power supply, while the 2nd is a 110W desktop radio with a separate 110W amplifier/power supply unit for longer range communications situations. The Guardian ™ desktop radios combine a 110/220 Vac power supply with the 50W mobile and 110W remote mount radios to make up units that should have a variety of desktop usages. Both radios have the same features and operator interface as the 50W or the 110W remote mount units.

DWC offers three versions of its popular Squad Radio family. All models provide full coverage of 30 to 88 MHz tactical VHF frequency band in 25kHz steps, while the PRC1080 provides full-band frequency hopping and digital encryption in the convenient handheld package. The transceivers are lightweight, compact, and provide effective communications in very harsh environments. They are waterproof and have been tested in MIL-STD-810. The PRC1080 is also compatible in frequency hopping (ECCM) and encryption (COMSEC) modes with Datron's SpectreV PRC2100V and PRC1088 transceivers. A vehicle docking station and 30W RF power amplifier are also available if mobile usage is desired.

The PRC1077 Tactical Manpack radio has earned the reputation of being the radio of choice for defense organizations around the world when replacing and upgrading their existing tactical VHF network. It is the modern manpack radio with advanced features proving long mission life that retains the same form, fit, and function of older manpacks still in operation. IT also has provision for an internal encryption module to allow secure communications when required. Datron's PRC1077 is also available in a 50W mobile system suitable for vehicular use, and it can use its own mount or the existing MT-1029/OE3633 US Military mounting configuration.
