Benefits One-Stop, Single Platform
The modular architecture of Sentry allows for rapid customization and the capability to include separate sensor components and radios. These elements connect and work together to make the Sentry a robust and flexible, one-stop hardware platform. Meets the Most Demanding Tracking, Sensing and Control Needs
Sentry offers ruggedized packaging and broad operating temperature ranges for use in harsh environments. These features, plus standardized mounting options, extended battery options and external sensor capabilities, make Sentry the right device for even the most demanding tracking and sensing needs.
Secure and Tamper Resistant
For security applications, situations where a "covert" install is required or for applications that require Sentry to operate independent of the driver, maintenance or delivery personnel, the unit can be configured to alarm immediately if tampering or unauthorized motion occurs.
Reports from Virtually Any Location on the Globe
Sentry's modular architecture enables the use of the most cost-effective reporting path for your application needs and will report from virtually any location on the globe using one, or a combination, of the following: Mesh, WiFi, SMS, GSM/GPRS, CDMA and LEO Satellite.
Broadband applications benefit from low-latency communications, so LEO satellite constellations provide an advantage over a geostationary satellite, where minimum theoretical latency is about 125 milliseconds, compared to 1–4 milliseconds for a LEO satellite. A LEO satellite constellation can also provide more system capacity by frequency reuse across its coverage, with spot beam frequency use being analogous to the frequency reuse of cellular radio towers.

Configured to Meet Your Business Needs
To meet your application needs, Sentry can be designed to dynamically support customized business rules as well as dispatch alarm and notification messages specific to your operations. Users can also define reporting frequency as often as every 30 seconds or as infrequently as required.
Keeps Thinking, Even When Not Connected
Sentry is equipped with 16MB of internal memory and expandable up to 8GB, depending on what you need. This, plus onboard logic, enables Sentry to continue storing information from the connected asset and forward all the data once the wireless connectivity is restored.
Sentry is the only M2M hardware device on the market capable of operation for land, sea and air.
Equipped with a patent-pending feature. Sentry is able to detect when in range of an aircraft to dynamically adjust its reporting mode. This allows our customers to choose one hardware platform no matter where or how the asset travels.
